I used this product x years agone in a heavily rusted MGB tank with pin holes. I dropped virtually 10 ft of chain in the tank and vigorously shook it until all he rust flakes were loose cleaned out and added sealer as directed. To this day all the same no leaks.

Peachy production. After cleaning tank with iv bottles of CLR I used 28oz of sealer in a 20 gallon metal Chevy truck tank. Just keep moving it around to get even coverage. Only took a few days to completely dry here in the desert. Able to do a bike tank with the other 4oz. Will purchase it again when needed.

This product is the real McCoy. It was amazing, as it coated the unabridged inside of the tank. I was rolling it around (as directed) the white was seeping out of seams that I didnt fifty-fifty know had leaks. It sets up quickly, and I was putting fuel in the tank after 3 days. I would highly recommend this production

Very easy to utilise. Polish tough film when dry out. Stale thoroughly in 24 hours. Lower areas of tank seem to take a thicker moving picture coverage than vertical and acme surfaces.

I used the product in a fiberglass fuel tank it seems to dry and produce a dainty film. I would definitely purchase more than than necessary to be able to slosh it effectually and accept another person to assist you. I purchased a gallon for a 36.5 gallon tank and had a lot left over. The production is reasonably cost and can be used again if stored properly. I haven't put fuel in withal but very confident it volition be fine.

Q: I'm looking at sealing a very slight seepage at the sump drain flange on my RV-4- Aluminum tank with aluminum sump valve flange- and I use motor gas west/ethanol in my airplane. I am looking at something with low viscosity to menstruation into the area that is leaking, and perhaps setting up a slight vacuum with a toilet punger to draw the sealant into the seepage.(this is aerospace engineering, after all). Does this product accept a fairly low viscosity, or can it be thinned a bit with, say, MEK?

This is a single stage component. There is no thickness that we recommend. Each application can vary. The product generally leaves behind a very thin blanket. It is not supposed to be very thick. There should exist no puddling of the product as this will foreclose it from drying properly. If the client wants to do a 2d coat later on 24 hours with the remaining product, that is fine. This is only needed if for some reason they missed a spot during the initial application. A thicker coat or 2d coat actually won't offer any added benefit in terms of protection.
